As A Piano-Player and Composer

Awarded a First place in the Professional International section with my Prelude Impromptu No.6 at the Golden Key Music Festival - Piano Composition Competition (Jan. 2020); the award ceremony will be held on Aug. 4, during the Vienna music festival (Aug. 3 - 10, 2020). Also, I was invited as the winner to give performances at the festival gala concert at the Ehrbar Hall and at the Bösendorfer Hall at Mozarthaus, during the festival. Regarding this winning, I was interviewed by Shizuoka Shimbun (a press in Shizuoka) this February, and an article (or here, via yahoo) appeared on Apr. 6, 2020.
Received a Special Award (Tokubetsu-Sho) of music composition from the 39th Audition for Fresh People at Oikawa Classical Music Office (2017.4.24). That was, indeed, the very first thing named as `award' received from somebody in my life.
I was asked to play the piano on solo by the chairman of the 19th International Conference on Digital Signal Processing (DSP2014), in front of some hundreds of the attendees at the banquet (on Aug. 22, 2014):

The Program:

  1. Medley: Overjoyed (Stevie Wonder) - Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No.2: 2nd motif, 1st movement - Overjoyed
  2. 獅子山下 (a well-known theme of the Hong-Kong's famous TV drama)
  3. Yuyake-Koyake (Japanese traditional, arranged by T. H.)

From Nov. 2007 to Mar. 2011, I had regularly given my performance (mainly piano solo) at the Italian Cafe IMAGO nearby Nishi-Nippori/Sendagi St., Tokyo.
I have attended a Jazz Academy held in Aug. '96 held at Regent's college, where I happened to know a named teacher at Royal Academy of Music (RAM) in Britain, Michael Garrick, who has his own Jazz big-band orchestra and also has published several of his original CDs with his trio and big-band orchestra, including ``A Lady in Waiting''. He has kindly given me occasional lessons at RAM.
