Open Campus Funabashi was held on 2023/8/6 (Sun) and 7 (Mon).
Two mini-lectures in the Department of Applied Information Engineering were held at the open campus. First, Professor Matsuno gave a lecture titled “Let's make software,” about how to make software and how fun it is, using software actually created by students as examples. Second, Assistant Professor Seki gave a lecture on an overview of AI and black box problems where AI thought circuits are difficult to interpret, titled “Machines that learn by themselves -AI thought circuits-”. A very large number of high school students visited the booth set up in Building 14. Building 2, where the Department of Applied Information Engineering's laboratory is located, was also opened to the public for the first time in a few years, and visitors were eagerly watching and experiencing various contents prepared with the cooperation of students in the Department of Applied Information Engineering and graduate students majoring in information science.
