A sports competition was held on 2023/3/22 (Wednesday) as the 2nd Department of Applied Information Engineering Orientation for 2022.
Continuing from the first session of Reiwa 4, it was planned and managed by a second-year student in the Department of Applied Information Engineering as a face-to-face event, leading up to the event. We rented a sports hall at the Faculty of Science and Engineering, and after a greeting from the classroom manager, everyone gathered in a circle, and matches were held in a tournament format for volleyball, table tennis, badminton, and basketball. Many students from the 1st to 4th year of the Department of Applied Information Engineering, graduate students, faculty, and staff from the Department of Information Science participated, and enjoyed exchanges across grades etc. by forming an impromptu team decided by lottery on the day. Awards for each category and awards for MVPs selected by teachers and school year secretaries were also held, making it a fulfilling event.
