On 2021/7/5 (Monday) and 7/12 (Monday), a special lecture in the Department of Applied Information Engineering was held in a hybrid class format using a combination of face-to-face and online simultaneous two-way classes as part of the “Applied Information Engineering Incentives” class course for first-year students in the Department of Applied Information Engineering.
Professor Hideo Nakamura (Professor Emeritus, Nihon University) gave a lecture on “The World Aimed for by Safety 2.0,” and the second time, Mr. Yasuhito Hatafuku (Toshiba Digital & Consulting Co., Ltd.) gave a lecture on “Logistics Reform and Key Points for Logistics Center Automation in a Digital Society.” It was a valuable opportunity to hear stories from companies and professors emeritus that I can't usually interact with.
