Open Campus Funabashi was held on 2025/8/2 (Sat) and 3 (Sun), and departments were introduced in buildings 14 and 2 under the title of the department introduction program “Designing a Rich Society with AI, IoT, and Software.”
Two mini-lectures in the Department of Applied Information Engineering were held at the open campus. First, Professor Hoya asked, “What is artificial intelligence?” Second, from Associate Professor Murakami, “Isn't there a silver bullet for learning programming?” Each lecture was given under the title. A very large number of high school students visited the booth set up in Building 14. Building 2, where the laboratory of the Department of Applied Information Engineering is located, was also open to the public, and visitors were eagerly watching and experiencing various contents prepared with the cooperation of students from the Department of Applied Information Engineering and graduate students majoring in information science.
