Naoya Sakagami, a fourth-year student in the Department of Applied Information Engineering, who belongs to the Hosono-Seki Laboratory, received the Excellent Paper Presentation Award at the 2020 IEEJ Tokyo Branch Chiba Branch Research Presentation Meeting held at Nihon University Hakkaisan Seminar House from November 9th (Saturday) to November 10th (Sunday), 2024.
The title of the presentation is “Proposal for AI to Support Composition Activities Using the Diffusion Model” (Sakagami Naoya, Furutado Yuki, Seki Hiroto, Hosono Hiroyuki). This presentation focused on the generation process of a latent diffusion model that generates music, and proposed AI to support composition activities by constructing a method for performing arbitrary conversion using adjustment prompts for music once generated.
