The 10th Japan-China Research Exchange Meeting on Information Science and Its Applications (ISITA2024) was held in Qingdao, China, and faculty members of the Department of Applied Information Engineering were warmly welcomed.
The 10th Japan-China Research Exchange Meeting “The 10th International Symposium on Information Technology and Application (ISITA2024)” was held in Qingdao, China from 2024/10/17 (Wed) to 20 (Sun). Four faculty members from the Department of Applied Information Engineering and Professor Emeritus Professor Hideo Nakamura from our university participated. From the Chinese side, in addition to Xi'an University of Technology, which is an academic exchange agreement school for the Faculty of Science and Engineering, there were many participants from Beijing Jiaotong University, Southwest Jiaotong University, and CRRC (CRRC), which is one of the world's leading rail car manufacturers, etc., and active exchanges took place. Furthermore, since the 8th meeting was held at the Kitakyushu International Conference Hall in 2019, face-to-face meetings have been postponed due to the effects of the novel coronavirus infection, and it was the first face-to-face meeting in 5 years. The 9th session is being held online in 2021.
