An open campus was held at Surugadai Campus (Tower Scola).
Open Campus Surugadai is an event where 14 departments of the Faculty of Science and Engineering and junior colleges meet in one place and hold department/entrance examination consultations and department introduction programs.
Active graduate students and fourth year students belonging to the laboratory in the Department of Applied Information Engineering exhibited devices and software that are daily research results, and posters to introduce them in an easy-to-understand manner, and many high school students were able to experience it.
As a department introduction program, an introduction was given by Professor Hosono, who is the head of the classroom, and a third-year student in the Department of Applied Information Engineering, and it was so successful that the venue was full. Above all, in “Introducing the Appeal of the Department by Students,” 3 students who are active using the headquarters system called the “Project to Realize What Nihon University Students Want to Try” introduced everyday creative activities and achievements specialized in digital fields such as the metaverse, and connections to learning in the Department of Applied Information Engineering in an easy-to-understand manner, and received
high interest from many visitors.
